Deleting your data

How to ask

Email hello@nightloomos.com with the subject “Delete my data”. Please include:

• the mobile number on your rewards account;
• the café (or cafés) you're a member of.

You can also ask any team member at the café, and they'll pass it on.

What happens next

• We confirm the request comes from you — usually by asking you to send one WhatsApp message from that number, or by replying from the email on your account.
• We delete, or permanently anonymise, your personal details: your name, phone number, email address, birthday and PIN. Any WhatsApp verification records linked to your number are deleted too.
• We reply to confirm once it's done — within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What may be kept

A café may need to keep its own sales records (for example, a receipt total and the date) for tax and accounting. Those records are kept without anything that identifies you.

WhatsApp messages

If you verified your number over WhatsApp, we never stored the text of your message. The short record of the check — a one-way hash of the code and the message ID — is deleted automatically after 30 days, or straight away when you ask.
